4. It's about demand
not supply. With such a large percentage of people out of work, trying to make ends meet on half the pay the had when working, the demand for goods and services have declined in the US. No demand, corporate cuts back. Why extend your hours, hire more workers, if no one is coming into the store? The only way to generate a demand is to fill a need. The need America needs right now if FAIR TRADE.
