1. Quite concise statement about what is going on.
Endless wars, depleted Treasury for all projects except those related to blow jobs for the Bankers and the Military industrial complex.

A president who ran as a Progressive and immediately took upon himself to become one of the Powers that Be. The Rahm, Geithner and Monsanto appointments made even before his inauguration show this to be the fact.

A "two party system" that is only a One Party System, i.e. Big Money Party.

How did the Third Recih operate? Well, they deprived the chosen outcasts
of the ability to work, to have health care, to have porperty.

They used the meme that terrorists were all around them, and as a result, dissidents, Jews, "Soviets" and union leaders were arrested and put in concentration camps.

The Nazis required you to have your papers on you at all times. Well, we have to have our papers on us, and still they can insert their fingers in places I don't want just anyone's to go.

The US' media is for all intents and purposes a joke. And that too is a requirement for a Nazi state.

4. Obama
The premise that Obama ran as a progressive is fallacious. He ran to the center during the elections. Had he ran as a progressive he would have never gotten elected. The results of the last elections show you that. Progressive want massive control of the populace and the American people don't want that. An attempt to control us is what we are seeing now. Why do you think the Obama administration is bypassing Congress and using regulations as they are now. The progressive movement is in decline face the facts and you'll sleep a little better. This is a center right country and will always be. Whether republican or democrat the progressive movement is rejected whenever it is tried.

As far as big money, whats the difference whether that money comes from neocons or progressives (ie Soros) it is still used for their own purposes not the well being of the people.

The unions in the US are a joke. I work with unions everyday. The fat cats at the top and the thugs are fine, the average worker that wants to put food on the table ends up having their dues used for things they don't want, they work next to guys that produce half the output they do but get paid the same and get laid off because of seniority instead of lack of production. How is that fair?

I know you will not see this, but the is a huge difference between neocons and progressive monies. Yes they both corrupt the system but neocons are in it for themselves, progressives are in it for everyone. That is why I'm a liberal/progressive, everyone gets an equal shot. For that to happen those that have the most power must either keep that power in check via enlightened self interest, or required to be kept in check by the one force that is more powerful, government of and for the people.

7. Ask Eastern Europeans what they think of George Soros.
He is no friend to progressives.

Plan

1)Divide up our people into the right and left.

2)Cause a division in the general population .

3)Criticize Our People even if they are doing exactly what we want them to do.i.e. the leftist NY Times LOL

4)Demonize certain segments of the population to keep the hate going.Diversions. Christine O'Donnell and Sarah Palin are not viable candidates for anything. Do you see Howard Dean in the news? Or on the Sunday Shows? If he is on a program, does he get to finish a sentence?

5)Rid the masses so as to keep our control. Look at our air , food supply and water. Polluted. Insiders in key positions to keep the poison going. Look at the Gulf of Mexico. People are dying from the carcinegens from CorExit. Fish are not safe to eat. Who says "Eat the fish".Do you see any of this on MSM? We are encouraged to call and write our legislators to vote for US and not the corporations. More and more legislation which affects US every day is being passed in the dead of night, far away from public scrutiny.

9. ok... and???
Ok molly77, we are not on different sides here. I know that money has corrupted the system. Pubic financing of campaigns is the only way to correct that. I've been a Deanaic since back in the day. M$M killed any chances of him becoming president. I wish our progressive leaders had his passion and care for the people of this country.

My point in response was to say to that Freeper, they have a problem with Soros, but not with the real enemies of the people, the multi-national corporations that do far worse on a day to day basis (as per your post here).

13. Yes, the American people always reject Progressive policies...
Just like they utterly rejected FDR's New Deal for nearly 60 years, especially those hugely unpleasant and disastrous failures like Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid, which were misguided FDR Progressive adventures to exert massive control over the American people, right?

I must say I'm impressed at how much distilled wrongness you managed to get into such a small space though, to include my personal favorite:

"The premise that Obama ran as a progressive is fallacious...Progressive want massive control of the populace and the American people don't want that. An attempt to control us is what we are seeing now. Why do you think the Obama administration is bypassing Congress and using regulations as they are now."

So... Obama isn't a Progressive, which are the people who want to control Americans, which is why the non-Progressive Obama is bypassing Congress in order to exert the control that only Progressives want to exert, even though he isn't one? Does that about sum it up?

Your logic is...stunning.

20. Nowhere in my piece did I say that Americans reject
Progressive policies. Not sure what you needed to do to misinterpret me, but maybe you should read what i wrote one more time??

What I was saying about Obama is that despite his running as a progressive, he was elected by a 62% mandate of the People.

And he immediately turned away from his progressive policies and became one of the Powers that Be.

When he ran for the oval Office, he said he would END NAFTA. By December of 2008, he had selected Rahm Emanuel, the chief architect for the legalese of the NAFTA contract under Bill Clinton, as his Chief of Staff.

29. Yeah, SSI is a great deal for seniors.
A lot of us boomers planned for years with 401k's and deferred wages put into defined benefit pensions. Then the crooks running their companies figured out it was easier to underfund the plans, pay themselves huge salaries and bonuses, file bankruptcy and turn the pensions over to the PBGC, where it got whacked.

In the mean time, our leaders created massive bubbles in the economy and tanked our 401k's. So, after carefully planning over a lifetime, and getting screwed out of it all legally, SSI is about all we have left. And Obama created a Catfood Commission with two Douch-bags as Chairs, to try to fuck us even further.

How often did we hear Obama call himself a Progressive. If he called himself a progressive, then that means he ran as one.

6. How did the Third Recih operate?
Something that we all could do is google how Hitler privatized everything like railroads and gave the lucrative business to his cronies. HMMMMM

I live in upper state Maine. The border patrol is going further and further down state and doing road blocks. Guess what you have to have ? Papers to prove we have a right to be on the roads. Their manners are just as bad as the TSA. RUDE!

11. Presume ....
by "border patrol" you mean something connected to Homeland Security?

Or is it something else I've missed?

Who are they trying to keep out? Canadians?

I'm with everyone else who sees this right wing urge to "show me your papers" are

something very threatening to what is left of any freedom here in US.

And it always begins with the idea of controlling the FEW among us -- and how

quickly and easily that idea can be sold to the many. The "them" and "us" campaigns

by the right wing never cease -- and usually succeed!!

:)
Interesting post --

10. K&R for your post ----
A president who ran as a Progressive and immediately took upon himself to become one of the Powers that Be. The Rahm, Geithner and Monsanto appointments made even before his inauguration show this to be the fact.

It's amazing how many remain in denial of this -- though so many of us immediately began

to warn how alarming and dangerous this was.

Many Americans really need their BS meters set waaaay higher!!

The myth of a free press died with the assassination of Pres. John F. Kennedy --

15. Your last statement about the free press is spot on.
If they had the power to shut up the so called free press about JFK assignation then the free press is effectively dead.
And so they morphed it into a propaganda machine to make us believe that we are free when the truth is that we are not.

18. I thought this was a site devoted to progressive
, ideals, and calling all the kooks out on the right. It appears to me that it's turning quickly into a haven for " ron paulers, free staters, libertarian extremists, and conspiracy theorists to name a few.

I forgot the LaRouch fruitcakes, the nazi girl at barney franks town hall.

Lets not forget the ridley report, now that's real progressive, I want MY GUNS, I want my pot, I want my extreme libertarian beliefs and screw the rest of the country.

Just my feelings today.

According to your "definition" of a LaRouche fruitcake, I guess you'd have to implicate Naomi Klein, as well.

Kiein has been making most of the points made in the OP and in my remarks for over five years now.

If you even know who she is.

(She wrote: "Shock Doctrine" and really nails our current time as being one of fascism coming into full bloom occupation of our nation. And it was done from within.)

from small farmers need to be under control of HomeLand Security? We faced a bigger threat during the 2 world wars. All we did was ration, not control individuals? Big difference.

foods are not under attack as this lady would have you to believe. Unpasteurized milk can and has been the causes polio. Cheese made from this milk can and has caused polio in the past..that's what brought about this law about pasteurizing.

8. Pasteurized milk does not have the nutrients and taste
that unpasteurized milk has. Our canned foods that are given the green light by the FDA have known carcinogens in them. The problem is factory farms. Give the cows antibiotics and growth hormones for maximum production. Then we have pus in our milk from masticates. But that is OK?

Then when WE have an infection, the medical profession is hesitant to prescribe antibiotics. The cows got them. Big Dairy can afford to contribute to our lawmakers in DC. Not US.

The growth hormones cause early puberty.

12. Patriot Act and Homeland Security should never have been passed ....
They are a threat to our freedom -- as is being pointed out in the video.

They are after your water -- they are after your food/seeds -- no question about it.

Capitalism reflects the mentality of fascism -- total control -- a ridiculous

"King-of-the-Hill" system kept in place by political violence.

And we've had more than 50+ years of right wing political violence still unacknowledged

by our "free press."

Yet there are many still sitting in front of their TV's confident that if there were

anything really wrong going on, the news reader would tell them!!

We now have one right wing party and one radical right wing party -- a party of NO and

a party of NO RESPONSE!

16. Amazing video
The truly sad thing is that she is your typical American citizen today. How she acts, what she is saying is being discussed at every dinner table. The Gov is really creeping everyone out.

Throw billions of dollars at Homeland Security and viola, we live in a police state. They are looking for trouble and creating it out of thin air. Remember Amy Goodman was arrested. Helen Thomas fired. The Amish are spied on. People in Pennsylvania who are peacefully protesting for clean drinking water against the unknown toxic brew Natural Gas drillers (Halliburton) are injecting into the ground, are designated as possible eco-terrorists by the State.

So when will Homeland Security start calling all of us Americans insurgents and call out the national guard. It wouldn't be surprising if it happened this Thanksgiving, if people protest the porno scanners or the groping of children.

19. Thanks -- forgive me but this is the 4th Reich reply to security .....
Terrorists allegedly are "over there" yet we're harassing our own citizens --

and now plan to extend that to bus and rail!!

This is simply the Fourth Reich's agenda to scare the hell out of the public and

make them see those fear signals at every turn.

What about our nuclear plants?

What out our ports?

What about missiles that travel around the country -- by mistake!

What about a 10 year occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq -- and 20 years of bombing

Iraq before that?

Heaven help this nation if there is ever any justice in the world!!!
