The host really allowed him the opportunity to speak at length, and he flubbed his points a few times. Overall, good interview.

2. Mythology

Mythology is powerful! Why is pointing out that the whole Nativity is a myth (which it obviously is.... I mean Oedipus is more believable!) why is that offensive? Does it diminish the power of whatever message that might be contained therein?
How is it offensive? Isn't their faith powerful enough to overcome a billboard by an atheist? Does it raise doubts in the faithful? (see my tag line)

Christians just LOVE to be offended. They can't wait! They get to play put upon Christian martyr!

The whole world will NEVER be Christian. Nor will it be Muslim. (or one anything, for that matter). The sooner these salvation/conversion religions realize this, the happier everyone will be!

How is pointing out the truth insulting beliefs? Why does such nonsense that virgins give birth and shepherds watch their flocks in winter at night get a free pass? If I believe a giant spaghetti monster has touched me with his noodly appendage, and I am insulted when some Christian, who doesn't even know N Korea is not our ally, tells me I WILL be tormented FOR ALL ETERNITY, is my outrage going to be made legitimate? Why is this a one way street?

Not all beliefs should be given equal gravitas. If it's a myth, it's a myth.

Is that the United States is not a Christian Nation, that this country is a melting pot, that allows ALL FAITHS and Non faith organizations to exist here.

How do the rest of us know who is getting it right? Or could they ALL be wrong?

and compare their acts vs. what the Jesus person is supposed to have said.

Congruence vs. incongruence.

Reason, logic.

For example: Jesus is supposed to have said the words contained in Matthew chapter 6 - "When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that others may see them. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret."

If the Christian in question makes a point of praying in public (e.g., prayer breakfasts, school prayer, etc.) they cannot be said to be behaving in the manner Jesus said they should. It is diametrically opposed to what a "true Christian" should be doing with regards to prayer.
