Peter Beinart keeps saying that this data dump should have been brought about by journalists.

Problem is, the Mainstream Corporate Press can claim Hersh and Fisk as the only two hard working, legitimate journalists. And Seymour Hersh can now use the Wikileak stuff as corroboration for some of his pieces.

The other journalists are not worthy of the name. They would just as soon tell us about Mel Gibson's latest scandal, or report on Paris Hilton.

Or like Judith Miller did back in the lead up to the Iraq War, repeat the Big Lies that the White House told her her to as news.
