Nearly two years after the launch of the much touted US Stimulus Package, unemployment hovers around ten percent, while nearly twenty percent of Americans remain underemployed. This, leaving many wondering if this era of so called American recovery is being arguably mistaken for an era of Americans struggling to survive.

1. Republicans have been pushing the notion of "The Failed Stimulus" for quite sometime now.

Other more rational and objective sources point to the jobs that were saved or created and the crises that were averted.

The most reasonable criticism states that the stimulus worked but there should have been more of it.

2. Depression is good for you.

Nobel laureate Paul Krugman said that it wasn't just the crash of '29 that caused the Great Depression but Herbert Hoover's subsequent decision to cut spending.

So here we have it. Cut spending. With some luck even YOU TOO can relive ......
