Segments from local newscast in the Spring of 1978 ... interesting clip for a few reasons:
News station (a local one) had a full-time "Labor Analyst" (unlike a "Wall Street Analyst" ... The analyst was a famous newspaper labor reporter named Victor Riesel ... Riesel is wearing sunglasses because his reporting infuriated a vicious Genovese crime family labor racketeer named Johnny Dio (J. Lee Cobb in On The Waterfront was based on him) so much he order an acid attack on Riesel which blinded and disfigured his eyes.
Also a quote from Rupert Murdock about not letting the unions breaking him ... and Firestone's response after being told by the gov't their new tires were unsafe (they lowered the price to sell more of them.)
