1. reminded me of Pat Buchanan's reaction after the nomination acceptance speech

a lot of it seemed genuine, but the a shift reminded me mostly that they were responding to the slew of criticisms about FoxNews constantly undermining everything about this President - and someone higher up told them 'you are NOT going to do that after this memorial, and you will hurt Fox's standing with the public if you attack him over a speech at a memorial, so don't even go there...'
