Sarah was obviouly speaking to her cult base. She sought to overtake the GOP but I don't think that will happen now.
What scares me is Sarah is the novice for the one to come. No I don't mean the anti-christ. The next one like Sarah will be more sophisticated..more informed..and more dangerous. He could have a Biblical name as well. It seems fairly easy to charm certain segments of our society.

8. My post for the day on Blood Libel

Lot's of us are are seen the term as a code. Here is my take

Sarah is sending a code message to her army of flying monkeys that her life is in danger, with the understanding that they need to defend her life, presumably with the guns she wants them to be allowed to carry.

Pure and simple.

The victims of the blood libel generally were killed, often by a variety of horrible means.
Sarah has told the armed and angry inmates of her asylum that her life is in danger, that the media and the left have called down a blood libel on her.

The more I think about it. Even Sarah cannot possibly be foolish enough to do what she did yesterday without a reason. She issued an inflammatory rant guaranteed to get slammed by just about every political ideological group. She chose to be inflammatory rather than compassionate deliberately and calculatedly.

She was deliberately throwing chum to her sharks.

She claims she is the target of a Blood Libel, on a day when the rest of the country is mourning, knowing the press and the bloggers will go nuts and rain insults and bad press on her, confirming in the minds of her army of the insane that she is indeed in danger.

Couple that with the publication of Beck's statement that if she were assassinated the republic would be destroyed.

I'd look for some more shootings in the near future.

Also a Palin aid today, Thursday, has issued a claim that death threats against Palin are way up since her video.

9. Newsweek's Cover Story on St.Sarah didn't help either

or maybe it did help her and her followers





The accompanying story, written by Lisa Miller, carries the following descriptor paragraph:
To white evangelical women, Sarah Palin is a modern-day prophet, preaching God, flag, and family--while remaking the religious right in her own image.

Now why was Newsweek doing this for Sarah when during that week
there were really important world and National stories that should have been placed on their cover?
