2. According to one source...and I cannot confirm this..

"She was on GMA this morning telling people nationwide how embarrassed she was that this was released on you tube and became a sensation. So she hired a lawyer because no one came to her aid and it was released on you tube. "

This is unconfirmed, cause I did not see her on Good Morning America, and I cannot say for sure that she is sueing.

Maybe someone saw her this morning, or perhaps it was another day.

17. The abc link does mention that the security guard who leaked the video

was fired, and that she is suing because she "could have" been hurt, and the security guards "should have" helped her instead of laughed at her.

It was wrong to release the video, but if she wasn't hurt, how can she collect anything?

Weaving in pedestrian traffic texters.

Annoying weaving texters.

Idiot texters driving up the cost of premises liability insurance because they are idiots and want someone else to compensate them for that fact.


Those terms are just not clever at all.

He was almost text messaging more when he was on duty" than off duty, said Chairwoman Deborah Hersman, citing records from the days leading up to the crash that showed engineer Robert M. Sanchez sent and received dozens of texts during periods he was scheduled to operate trains.

"It was just so egregious," Hersman said at a Washington meeting on the probable cause of the crash.

Board members cited indications that Sanchez, an employee of Metrolink contractor Connex Railroad, had become distracted before the collision, including his apparent failure to call out signals before and after the Chatsworth station.

Board members are debating a recommendation to have passenger rail services install audio and video recording of engineers in locomotive cabs. Metrolink recently installed video cameras in control cabs, but a leading rail employee union has challenged the action in court.

9. I almost t-boned some woman the other day.

She blew thru a light and I knew she was texting (with one hand, no less). I came within a few inches of blasting her into oblivion, as I drive the biggest non-limo Mercedes Benz has ever built and she was in some tin can. Fortunately, I always look at the faces of drivers as I approach an intersection and I could tell she was distracted by something in her lap and I was able to get on the brakes before she entered the intersection.

I followed her into a grocery store parking lot where she had parked, still texting. So I walked up and asked her thru her open window just what in Hell was she thinking and she just shrugged and kept on texting.

I snatched her phone out of her hand and threw it out into 5th Street.
