and you should do it soon, because it is becoming a toilet
I have friends who live there and their observation is that it
has become a worse place to live every year for the past 20.
Clean water is a not an every day expectation; State
government corruption is. There is no health care or
educational plan, beyond the most local clinics and PTA
groups. Real unemployment is near 25% and young people are
leaving as soon as they can get a ride out. It is sad state to
live in and that "state" is spreading. The coal
industry has been the money machine for the well connected.
Those well connected do not live near the pollution or the
coal slag they produce. They dump the shit in rivers, or, if
they are afraid of being reported, truck it to desolate
mountain locations. Like my friend says "it's like living
in the bottom of a toilet".
