I completely agree with you that "studies" into the impact of this terrible disaster have been seriously flawed and have received little attention. This oil spill was so last year... :grr:
I'm very afraid that, with so little news coverage and the loss of national interest, we're just going to stop doing much of anything to clean this up and assess the consequences, and that's really to our peril. We're still experiencing the effects of the Exxon Valdez spill all these years later and this one is so many, many times worse. :(
