pay, and lifestyle, (that many might have assumed was now obsolete) in other countries, does it give you a feel for where we are going here, in America Incorporated?
Will we standby and watch a profit-driven regression into what this film depicts, here? Can we afford to feed the motives of power and wealth in its obvious effort to own everything, including us, with very little of an in-between?
Can one feel immune, even in an income bracket and situation that seems to be secure for now? The trend seems to be accelerating on every level. The outcome appears to be an increasingly binary outcome where there are the very rich and the easily exploitable Underclass of the very poor. That should serve as a flashing, red light to those without substantial, liquid wealth.
I would caution folks to consider that this war on us is not just about power and wealth. There is another, more insidious factor that rides along with power. In order for power over another, (for certain types of power mongers) you don't just have the ability to control what they can and can't do, you must be able to make them suffer at will. Yes, it is pathological, but look closely at who and what we are dealing with here and question the motivation.
