And I'll go one further than greiner3: Of all the states I've been to, it is the most racist, antisemitic, xenophobic and misogynist. Yes, of course there are many good people there, as demonstrated by the '08 election. It's just that I never met any of them in the seven weeks (two trips) I've been there.
