6. Most people in the U.S.
Don't like him for a "few" lies about Iraq that keeps us in war and think he is stupid. They don't know the half of it. This Bush President is a most complex weaver of perfidy, hypocrisy, hegemony and out right danger to us all it is beyond words. I wish I didn't know any of it or wish it didn't exist.

7. Just think how bad it had to get just to get the people to pay attention
enough to notice the lies about the war. Just look at how bad it had to get for just the tip of the iceberg to show.

8. Maybe they wanted McDonalds breakfast
I bet one of them reminded the group that McDonalds only serves breakfast up til 10:30 now rather than 11 like they used to.

If I were the Cuban delegation, I'd be sure to give him the finger as I was walking out. Thanks for keeping the embargo going, asshole!

10. Thats' a good point...
The embargo is very damaging to Cuba's economy and serves no purpose, bravo to Chris Dodd for calling this like it is. the excuses are paper thin, "He's a dictator." yes, thats' accurate, but fairly benign compared to many we have actually ARMED and even brought into power, Suharto in Indonesia who's genocide may be in the millions, Mobutu in africa, Somoza in Nicaragua, Pinochet in Chile, the Shah in Iran, all genocidal maniacs, we also cuddled with south africa for awhile under aparthied, and while they aren't a dictatorship Israels' abuse of palestinians and lebanese isn't remotely comparable to anything castro has done. My greatest fear is that the cia will intervene after castro dies (Any day now.) and install a Cuban pinochet if you will who will open the door to sweatshops, and tourist attractions for rich americans where they don't have to look at poor people. This embargo must end.

12. How dare he!
How dare this disgusting excuse for a human being, this lying, hypocritical piece of shit we have to call a "president" act like he has the right to pontificate about democracy and free elections and human rights, and to dictate the internal affairs of other nations -- especially when he has been working nonstop against those very principles and to destroy the foundations of this nation!

:grr:

I wish the whole assembly room had walked out on him!
