Fox News has no interest whatsoever in getting the story right. Getting the story wrong is the whole point. Their job is to get the rabble jacked up. Any crap they concoct to that end is fair game. The best crap is stuff that other people concoct so they're not directly responsible for fabricating the crap. Best example: that frat boy dressed as a pimp (and let's face it, only another frat boy or the geriatric cracker Fox News audience would think that little biotch looked like a pimp). The pimp boy selectively edits a video to make it look like Acorn folks were aiding this frat boy pimp clown with under aged prostitution. Fox goes nuts for weeks until other news agencies sort it out. Meanwhile the damage is done. Acorn is history. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! The mission was never news. The mission is achieving conservative goals. And as far as that mission is concerned this was a shinning success. They took down Acorn, high fives all around. We all sit around thinking 'Oh they've got egg on their face, they've compromised their journalistic integrity. BS... they just wiped out an organization that organizes and registers intercity voters, democrats. Slam dunk! Job well done! News? Journalism? Are you kidding? That's the cover.
You think they didn't know Breitbart had selectively edited Shirley Sherrod to make her look as if she was racist? Making her look racist was the whole idea. Gets the old cracks all afearin' the coloreds they risin' up agin um. They ran with it as long as they could, for a week, until they were called out. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! DAMAGE DONE! When the truth comes out they just drop it and move on to the next wholly fabricated pile of crap. You know, 'the lie was half way around the world before the truth got it's boots on'. That the whole point. They throw the redneck racist clowns red meat, and it's job well done. Journalism, just get that right out of your mind. That's not what's going on here. Fox News is effective, wildly effective.
