Thursday, during a discussion of new rules for city eateries, Planner Aaron Starr told the commission he had something special to show them. Something they've never seen before, he said.
With that, he turned to his laptop and played one of those strange video's where computer generated character say whatever you type in stilted, electronic voices.
... "Can I serve ice cream at my coffee shop?" the animated applicant asks at one point. "Only if it is served in a cup and not a cone," the planner responded. "Otherwise we would have to send an enforcement officer to confiscate your ice cream cones."
