this is akin to Woodstock. Rolling Thunder is Pete Townsend and Sarah Palin is Abbie Hoffmann.

2. Hoffman was actually welcome on some levels. |
|
Palin is as welcome as a case of crabs.
If Richard Nixon had shoved his way onto the stage at Woodstock, that would have been analogous.

3. I think he is referring to the incident where Townshend placed his boot |
|
firmly in Hoffman's ass as he was trying to make a political statement during the Who's set.
I am a Who geek.

love those. not sure if I clicked on everything. gunfire sounds real enough , but the drip and the red phone rocked. "Uh Oh".....
unfortunately for me. I live in Cedar Falls, IA and thats next to Waterloo and the other lady Michelle Bachman supposedly might announce in Waterloo next month. Well there goes the neighborhood. Oh I'm an Iowan... really? I was born in Davenport in 1975 and lived here since 2000. Bet I've lived here longer than she has :P
Now if Palin was doing a Backman (sic) she's be going hey IDAHO I'm from this state doesn't it rock?

6. This veteran takes offense at Palin |
|
Who does this political cupcake think she's impressing by hijacking our Vets and others at the Rolling Thunder?
Does she WANT a riot to break out? Try to take the stage and see what happens.
This is a huge slap in the face of our vets and our fallen.
Get on your damn bus and drive off a pier! (Blues Bros. movie style)

12. I'm glad to hear that |
|
Rolling Thunder understands Sarah's participation is not in their best interest.
In the past they were WAY too friendly with George W Bush. They have faced a sort of quandary since Obama took office, however, as Obama simply can't fit into the good ol' boy biker image.
