Rick Scott, the Republican governor of Florida, had Republican operatives and local sheriffs remove any Democrats and other "Liberal Looking" seniors from a recent townhall event.

Whatever happened to "good Republicans?" They used to be around. You could talk to them, have serious and civil debates. They might have their differences from Democrats, but didn't want to wipe them off the face of the earth or sabotage them when they were in leadership positions.

9. Interesting observation. Kinda reminds me of the story of Kramer from Seinfeld

(who's name I can not remember). However, I am sure that you remember his rant.... He's a nigger!!! He's a nigger!!!

One thing that always struck me about that which ties in to your point was just how comfortable he was yelling that word on the stage. I concluded that he was around a seriously racist group where that word was used so frequently that it lost it's affect. It was simply how they referred to african americans and in those circles, you have permission to use that word freely. But once he started using that word publicly when he was out of his element, it ended his career.

People were shocked to hear such vile talk and he did not even realize it. When it comes to Republicans, it really shocks me (not so much anymore) about how easily they can say things like Obama is from africa or he is not an American. Or take positions like Torture is great or Medicare should be wiped out. In short, they now have "permission" to say the most vile, crazy things without their people batting an eye. It is like being certifiably crazy, and in an insane asylum, where you have the weight lifted off of your shoulders and are free to say or do anything.
