2. Its about time. No one is going to invest in a business or product for which there is no demand.

3. If Obama follows Timmy's

approach it will cost him a second term. And if he follows the austerity path it will damage the Democratic Party far into the future. Maybe this has been the true plan all along starting with extending the Bush tax cuts.

4. Why else has he appointed the people he has appointed?

Has he no insight in their belief system? Their political and economic philosophy? If he has not, then I question his decision making ability. If he has, I question his leadership.

5. where does this idea that Geithner is for budget austerity over jobs come from?

every time i've heard him testify or interviewed he's been clear about the need for short term spending to get us out of the crisis and create jobs, and long term budget reductions/ revenue increases to avoid increasing federal deficits.

6. Who could ever imagine?

Throwing money at Wall Street and the Banksters (trickle down) didn't work again. After 30 yrs of failure. Big O should listen to his own advise..... doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different result is insane. Of course he isn't insane, so we can conclude that he intended to make the top 5% wealthier while throwing millions of wage earners into joblessness and poverty.

We truly need an independent candidate because both parties work for corporate criminals.
