6/15/11 6 more activist arrested in Orlando for Sharing food with the hungry. 2 young children are being served as close to 20 police officers swarm in and arrest the food servers. This brings to total number of arrest for this horrendous crime up to 21 people within a two week time period.

1. It's like someone is social engineering the destruction of our communities.

2. Feeding people without a permit is not a good idea provided that you can

get a permit.

Through permitting, the city can identify those who are doing the feeding and punish someone whose intent is malicious.

We don't want people to be giving away tainted, poisonous or rotten food. So that is why the permits are a reasonable requirement in my view.

Is there a problem getting permits in Orlando?

Why not feed people in a churchyard?

3. I used to help with the food sharing there

and the food is nutritious and good. They wanted to only give a permit for twice a year so essentially ending the food sharing. It is only a very small area of the park and really low key except when the police get involved.
