1. democracy now always has good programing.

i wish that it would be shown on the television so that the many who don't use the internet for news could be exposed to the topics being discussed.

2. DN! is now on DirecTV and on DISH.

I wish I could find Chomky's whole speech because just after this segment ends, he talked about Libya and what we do with unfriendly or troublesome dictators. This speech was from FAIR'S 25th Anniversary event. Amy, Glen Greenwald and Mike Moore also spoke. LINKTV has been playing their speeches this week.

5. thanks for the info. i didn't know that one could view this on television

but then i never turn a tv on. i only glimpse any programing incidentally and then the show was chosen by my mother-in-law (usually cops or hoarders). i don't sit down and watch.

that helps you find a tv broadcsst in your area.

I'm not much of a watcher, either, but I appreciate being able to watch this show in the morning.

7. yes, it is refreshing to know that there are still some

people who are willing to present information honestly and in a format that provides enough context, evidence, and explanation to allow the listener to gain some understanding of a topic.
rather than the sound-bite propaganda that cable and network television provide.
i watch democracy now online but my mother would be more comfortable in front of the television.
she is no dummy but she is old and still watches the evening news. her computer comfort zone extends to sending e-mails to her children and grand children so she has not freed herself from the influence of corporate brainwashing.
