A University of Texas at Austin professor is arguing that ugly people need affirmative action to fight discrimination against physical appearance. Alyona Minkovski joins Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian of The Young Turks to discuss.

1. None of these three are ugly
So I'm going to side with the professor.

2. Three conventionally attractive people think being ugly isn't a problem for some in the workplace.
Next up, let's ask three rich white southern men what life is like for a poor black woman living in New York.

I've never had a problem at work due to appearance, but that's the thing about empathy: You don't have to personally experience it to understand the frustration of those that do. It's one of the things I don't like about Cenk. His empathy is decidedly lacking.

3. in this, they are so clueless...
...they have no idea. Are they even capable of understanding what it is like to be discriminated against for what they LOOK like? This is a prime example of not having enough experience on the topic to be qualified to comment on the problem.

I do think that their criticism about setting criteria for who is legally ugly is a fair point.
