So as we all agree we don't agree with Paul on anything but foreign policy
Hopefully a few repukes really listen to this and wake up

Conservatives are too easily swayed by 'religion' to support war, or just the fuel of hatred
Even Cheney had multitple biblical quotes in many of his messaging to U.S. troops, Bush as well

We may not agree with the majority of what this man says but at least we can be happy that conservatives listen to his foreign policy approach

my two cents

1. He sounds almost sane when it comes to foreign policy
and yet his domestic policies are so insane.

Ron Paul may be a clear example of American doublethink...

2. Yes However...
We can win Liberals with messages like this

More conservatives see this more dislike of hawkish candidates
And then... more Dems

I know people, not through Ron Paul, but through anti-war sentiment became Dems

4. What part of the message?
the one about American exceptionalism being short sighted, or the one about the free market saving the day every time?

3. That's Ron Paul's hook...
But consider who is sounding sane in comparison to. Appearing sane next to the likes of Rick Perry and Michele Bachmann is no great accomplishment.

That's not to say I don't wish there were some liberals out there with the balls to echo some of the things he's saying here. The brand of "American Exceptionalism" that right wingers are embracing these days isn't that far removed from the kind of nationalism which rationalized Japan's invasion of China in 1937 and Germany's invasion of Poland in 1939. If we're not careful it will be us who starts World War III.

5. I don't believe this guy
this is history '77- they say they want involvement in foreign affairs, when it wasn't their place to be involved at all.

and this is recent history. He's still involved with the group.

I mean, compare this to Obama and Hillary Clinton - there's no comparison. It's so sad.
