2. The more apt question would be

can he motivate them to vote in every small, minor, seemingly insignificant elections? I've missed exactly THREE elections in my whole life.

3. In my experience, nobody can

I've taught at a fairly large state university. Last election day, I asked my students who voted. One person raised their hand. I told them that I don't care how they vote, but I do think they should figure out where they stand on the issues and then take the time to go to the polls and vote accordingly. I don't think they took it to heart ;)

I don't know what else can be done. There are plenty of other life lessons that people don't heed as well. I guess you just have to take every opportunity you can to get the word out.

7. I don't see college students

or young adults out marching/protesting in the streets, as many of my generation did in the Vietnam Era. The whole country and their future is falling apart & disintegrating in front of their eyes. They have much to protest.

I think so. Many students want to participate with political matters. Why not? Youths these days are more matured.
