During his speech at the United Nations today, President Obama called for all countries to support gay and lesbian equality, saying, “No country should deny people their rights — the freedom of speech and freedom of religion — but also no country should deny people their rights because of who they love, which is why we must stand up for the rights of gays and lesbians everywhere.”

2. I guess showing 'that the life of a child in Somalia is precious' means a Reaper Drone overhead

or Ethiopean mercs blowing them away at ground level. I wont even go into the thousands upon thousands of civilians killed in Iraq, Sudan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Libya, etc since Obama was elected, nor the million plus civilains killed under both Clinton (Iraq, Balkans, etc) and W Bush.

4. just because the OP picked one subject out of many in a 9 minute video doesn't negate the other 95%

of what Obama said. The video is not even close to being exclusively about gay rights (something I vigorously support, btw). Being 'an evil bloodsucker' (as you put it) seems to go hand in hand with being a US imperial president, over the last 66 years or so, since Truman dropped the A bomb.
