Director's Statement
Generations of American taxpayers have bailed out today's big banks to the tune of $12 trillion (New York Times, July 2011). That is $83,000 p American taxpayer, plus interest. Still today, the big banks gamble with government (taxpayer) backing - a 'heads I win, tails you lose' scenario. This absurd scenario obliterates any notion of a true free-market society, we are slowly being reduced to a feudal society: where a small group of individuals, behind closed doors, shape our common economic future, and there is nothing we can do about it. This film explores how this all came to be over the last 3 years.

2. Excellent video! And when someone says that the banks paid the money back,
they are lying. If the banks had paid the money back, all of it, everything they gambled away, then we would not have a committee talking about cutting Medicare and Social Security. Certainly, Bush's absurd wars contributed to the theft from the Social Security Trust Fund, but the amount of money that the banks stole from us is just an outrage.

And no one pays.

3. They are lying ! They are lying! They are lying!

"If the banks had paid the money back, all of it, everything they gambled away, then we would not have a committee talking about cutting Medicare and Social Security."

Hell, they brought down the European banks too. These fucks should be in the deepest darkest prison. Why haven't they invested in our economy? Where are the massive infrastructure projects that are so desperately needed?

The American people should not stand for cuts in social security and medicare until every single politician has their wages and benefits cut to the bone and until the military is a fraction of its present size and until these banker thieves are prosecuted.

All our lives it was, "The commies are going to get us." Then it was, "The terrorists are going to get us." But all along it was the greedy thieving banksters that were the greatest threat. And they should have to answer for it. You hear that, Obama, Geithner?
