My American friends tell me European soccer fans are uncivilized. I realise Paterno is a saint over there, but damn. They have to understand he´s gotta go?

3. When did this happen? Fan girls are eating this country alive from the inside out.
Edited on Thu Nov-10-11 03:38 AM by pam4water
Fan girls don't know how to do anything but support they celebrity. And god help you if criticize their "hero". I saw gross out enough by the spontaneous rally they had for "JoePa" last night. Saw it on the news it was just creepy. That looks like there local TV station too. Don't know why the turning on them. It more the national press the is call BS on JoePA.

6. So... protesters get maced in NY, shot in Oakland, beaten at Berkley - though they caused no trouble
no violence. yet these kids at penn state decide to full on riot - police had to know this could get ugly - but no attacks by them cause the rioters were not protesting against the 1%. when peaceful protesters are attacked while kids pissed that their school's coach covered for a known pedo riot with no real response from riot police other than one half-assed effort i saw - these are fucked up times we live in indeed.

9. A lifetime of the Pope's antics has desensitized the issue.
These young people are a disgrace to humanity. When will we stand up for the children? I mean when will we call the Pope and his underlings and put those who have molested children in jail...for good? The time is now! A society that does not respect the children is no society at all.

22. I am totally with you
the pope and his cult need to go - they have kept humanity in chains and caused massive damage to people's psyche for way too long!

Remember when Sinead O'Conner riped up a pic of the pope live on SNL? Wow that was awesome. And she got destroyed for it.

17. Truth hurts don't it...
It takes a real candy ass to put me on ignore.

After the game two years ago, former UM linebackers coach Randy Shannon was hit in the head and knocked to the ground by a half-filled 55-gallon plastic garbage can thrown from the stands.

Shannon's lawsuit is still pending.

Brooks said minutes before Shannon was hit, he almost got hit by an unopened can of beer.

That wasn't the first time UM players and coaches have been assaulted by West Virginia fans.

In 1993, UM players were hit by cups of tobacco juice after a 17-14 West Virginia victory.

Scumbag mountaineer fans are notorious for this shit.

8. These students need to grow the fuck up.
Coming from Hicksville, many of them have little other focus than football and the first day of hunting season.

12. It makes me wonder about the these young people.
I would think that they would be enraged by the abuse of innocent children rather than protesting the removal of a coach that was involved in a cover up. It looks like the Penn State officials got their play book from the Catholic Church. Penn State wants to canonize Joe Paterno while the Catholic Church wants to canonize John Paul II both of whom put the protection of their organizations' reputations above the protection of children from monsters.
