On the 43rd day of the Occupy St. Louis occupation at Freedom Plaza (Kiener Plaza) the police, under the direction of Mayor Francis Slay, arrested 27 of the peaceably assembled occupiers.

Kiener Plaza had to be cleared so the city could put up a Salvation Army Tree Of Lights.

... this makes me proud- i used to think St. Louis a hotbed of apathy.

watch the cops at the end... they're not happy about doin' this.

1. Slay and all mayors

need to remember the 99% votes, as the cops seem to already realize they are the 99%. Rid elections of corporate money.

2. They represent so many of us in MO. who are barely able to occupy our homes at present

3. Wish MO had a state bank with all profits going into the state treasury to aid our budget.

5. More of the Police Militia that takes it's orders from the 1%...BUT,

is paid for with the TAX DOLLARS of the 99%.

"They're there at every major storefront. Every time you run into the grocery store to buy a box of crackers. The Salvation Army!

So is the Salvation Army a cult? I gues it depends on how you define cult. A lot of people claim so.
