12. I hear ya!
I have a guy that lives up the street and he has something like a business sign you put letters in. He keeps putting up anti-Obama slogans and other garbage....and right near the road for all to see.

I won't deny him his free speech, but sure would like to see a tornado occupy that sign lol.

27. I respect Elizabeth Warren but I hate to see her become
a politician. It just tarnishes her. She is above having to raise millions to keep big money in it's place. I wish her the very best and I am very disappointed that this dynamo may have to tone down her passionate ideals to get elected.

IMO, Ms. Warren is the perfect reason that political campaigns should be publicly financed. Since I am grumbling..the "and I approve this message" that "W" started, has become standard but I don't have to like it.

:argh:

46. I hope so, but IMO, she would have been able to do more
for the 99% if she were head of the Consumer Protection Agency. I understand that the repubs were screaming over her possible appointment. That just confirms my supposition.

A great scenario would be if we accidentally lost, or purposely impeached the SCOTUS members who refuse to abide by any form of propriety, and Warren were appointed as a Justice. If President Obama can "pack" the SCOTUS, Warren would be a natural pick also.

29. I don’t see her as President
I think she would probably be great.

However, as nasty as the right has been toward Obama, I don’t think it would be anything compared to what they would do if Warren took a presidential run.

33. I wish I could vote for her too.
But perhaps there may be a time when she says she running for the Oval Office. Then I can vote for her--gladly.

As for the ad, I believe what she taped is one of those "warm and fuzzy" ad's that has broad appeal to a large audience(according to poly-sci prof's I had in college). I think she just reached out to a lot of people who desire something different. All she has to do is just stay on message and not get drawn into nasty stuff. Don't stoop to Brown's or Tea-freaks level and she should win convincingly.

:yourock: Professor Warren!

47. I like her immensely. I can't
really put my finger on the quality that she has, but last spring when there were rallies in solidarity with the Wisconsin teachers, my wife (a teacher and building rep) and I were going to them frequently. We ran into a lot of our friends there - people we taught with in the past, some of my former students who were now union, locals friends who were there in solidarity.Elizabeth Warren reminds me of all of those folks.

addition to the Democratic Party. Miss people like her and Pelosi and others. We need their present stronger in the party. I've been following her for a while and sh*t I wish I was from MA right now b/c I would totally vote for her. Anywho, shout out from Cali and hopefully will be working from here to help a lot of Dems across the country including volunteering for Prez O.

51. This is a perfect example of how Democrats can run away with the next election.
This is what Americans want to hear, and by golly! They better follow through with what they say!
The only reason they lost here in Virginia this year was because just about every Democrat said in their ads, that they would work with the Republicans or, that there were Republicans that endorsed them. The result was, most voters stayed home. What was the point? The Democrats were just like the Republicans.
