Feb. 4: Maher makes the joke about exchanging Logan for Hasselbeck

Feb 11: Logan beaten and sexually assaulted

Feb 15: CBS News released a statement that Logan had been beaten and sexually assaulted on February 11

2. I couldn't believe that!!

I mean, Bill Maher told that joke last year sometime! And she used about 1/2 of his time to whine about this joke!! It was petty of her to still be harboring such resentment like that over a joke that lasted about a minute that he told a year ago!!

3. Wow. I started the clip with an open mind...

...fully prepared to agree with Hasselbeck if she had a good point.

But she came across really sanctimonious ("I happen to think personal accountability is important..."), passive-agressive ("I'm just a stupid Republican unable to understand your brilliant liberal mind..."), and lacking self-awareness ("I wasn't hurt"--riiiiiiiight). By contrast, I thought Maher did a great job of not taking this set-up of him personally and calmly answering Hasselbeck's emotionally charged questions.

4. Wow she is a bit unrelenting in the attacks,.

That was a bad joke, no doubt,. but to have him on and do nothing but quick little prickly hateful jabs is even more stupid.

7. She reminded me of a small yapping poodle

She really didn't have much to say, but she was very emotional and wound up. You could tell she had memorized exactly what she was going to say and once the flood gates opened there was no stopping her.

Agreed that Bill handled himself well, did not get emotional or defensive. She was painful to listen to.

5. Bill Maher is one of the few reasons

I subscribe to HBO. He's a comedian. Get over yourself Hasselbeck. I'll bet she supports some of the hateful things Rush Limbaugh says, and he's not a comedian, most of the time.

He didn't say that with any seriousness. It was a joke. Get over it already. I think it would've been better if she just made light of it, and threw back a joke at him.

I can't stand her, ever since she made her tv debut on Survivor a decade ago.

10. The joke he told about feeling like he was in high school sitting next to her

went right over her head. I think it would have been even more accurate if he had said, junior high school.
