Faith Laugier is a Journalist/Radio show host and personal friend of mine. Today, 11-17-11, she was indiscriminately grabbed from the crowd while moving away from the chaos, as instructed to do by NYPD. At the very start of this video you can see a police officer rush her from behind and body slam her to the pavement. Handcuffs were then placed on her in such a way that caused the veins in her arms to erect. Officers refused to loosen her cuffs as well as explain why she was being detained.

Also, several times in the midst of my filming and photographing her arrest several police officers attempted to swat and take my camera from me. At one point an officer shouted grab that man,me. I was able to remain safe.

and get away with it because of the "code of blue". That behavior just doesn't happen without precedent.

This #ows protest is basically giving them a self written license to assault women with impunity. They create a situation when none has developed and when a citizen is trying to get to safety or complying with a disperse order, then all of a sudden, that citizen is resisting arrest when there is nothing that can be proven that the citizen has done to warrant arrest, other than a fuckin' cop who can't control himself.

7. Insane, they are abusers, they should not be on the streets.

That creep looks familiar too. Not sure, but if I can find it, there is a photo of a cop, who looks like him, beating a protester with his bare fists. He also looks a bit like the 'red jacket' guy who arrested another journalist on the day they pepper-sprayed the women who were trapped behind the orange netting.

The anger towards them is growing. Saw many comments today all over Twitter, absolutely appalled at the behavior of the police across the country.

There is one thing for sure, this needs to change, these women abusing thugs need to be taken off our streets. So added to the list of goals is 'reform of the US Police Departments'.

Someone said today that the American people need some outside intervention to protect them from the US Police.

I sincerely hope she sues. They had no right to arrest a journalist for one thing, that is a 1st Amendment issue beyond a doubt. And they arrested nine of them yesterday. This is an assault on the Press, not just one woman.
