A Tennessee state representative from Sullivan County (northeast Tennessee) is threatening the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for investigating as to whether or nor Shipley and other members of the Tennessee General Assembly exceeded their constitutional authority by pressuring the Tennessee Nursing Board to modify disciplinary actions against three nurses (friends or associates of the TNGA members) for reportedly over prescribing pain medications
