It does make me wonder how large a step it is from pepper spray and rubber bullets, from water boarding and enhanced interrogation, from bludgeoning people with batons and hog tying them with zip ties... the stretch from there to death is how far? The distance between the two seems shockingly, disturbingly, unacceptably short to me.
