"The video in question - "How to Talk About Same-Sex Marriage at Thanksgiving" by PrinciplesinAction.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wfcc4wfv5A

As I said, what really angered me about this video was the attempt to downplay the offensiveness of what was being said with jokes and word-play. Anger over bigotry is brushed off as 'intolerance' and the entire debate is framed in an 'agree-to-disagree' fashion.

Sorry, but that kind of phony civility becomes the height of offensive when the same people telling you to respect their beliefs and rights think its okay to vote on the rights of others.

As I said, please share this video to as many people as you can. I'm not doing this for my own YouTube exposure - this kind of homophobia and bigotry needs to be called out and exposed. If it isn't, it has the potential to ruin lives. That may sound melodramatic, but its true.

Thanks for watching and sharing."

A young student of philosophy and media in the UK, and a student of American hypocrisy and religious over-reaching gives us a cogent summary of the gay marriage debate, side by side.

1. People from around the world look at Ameicanr bigots and have a..
more lively response than most of the posters here on a supposedly liberal blog can muster.

How to be a bigot on Thanksgiving, and none of us have a better response than this UK guy?

Incredible how we are silent, when oppressive women shove their religious bigotry out way.

5. Um, take another look. HE isn't the bigot, did you pre-judge him by the
length of his hair?
