36. There was a fundraiser for him here (Davenport, IA) last Saturday

Over 100 people attended to play poker, eat, drink, and listen to music. There were items raffled off as well and 100 pct. of the proceeds are going to help pay his medical bills.
And michelle bachmann was in town at the same time for some sort of book signing and less than 10 people attended. Less than 10 people. Hahahahaha.
There is a fund set up for Olsen's hospital bills at a local credit union. Ascentra Credit Union, of which I am a member.

But I think many of us would like to help his family as the bills for rehab will be costly. And he has probably already racked up quite a few bills at the hospital.

I will never forget what the City of Oakland did to this man. Much like the young Chinese guy who stood in front of the tank at Tinnamen Square, He will always be in my heart.
