1. Great piece. Really great. I only wish that they'd expanded it to cover...
...Russia & China's connection with Iran (mirroring the US relationship with Israel) and semi-neutral parties like Turkey, a NATO member but also a country which relies on Iranian petroleum products and has at least one big pipeline (IIRC) with them.
