Interesting. Very few republicans seem to be sympathetic to OWS.

Though, it follows by the usual, govt is at fault, free market is perfect stuff

1. A mutual hatred of the Federal Reserve seems to unite teabaggers and OWS
but that is about it.

3. Yep, he's looking good lately, there's no denying it.
Before you blast me, check out how your rep voted on the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 right here:
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/vote.xpd?vote=s2011-218

The bill includes:

the right of the US government to detain citizens -- even those on American soil, and not charged with a crime -- indefinitely in military prison. This means that peaceful protesters could be rounded up, dishonestly labeled as potential terrorists or "suspicious," and imprisoned for life without a trial or attorney. This means that federal military personnel would be patrolling our streets, literally signaling the end of our free republic.

Civil libertarians haven't left the Democratic party, but it does seem to be leaving us.

Consistency from a politician (imagine that?)...even though I do not agree with everything he is for, I can't help but respect the man for standing by his principals!

I don't care what anyone says. You really believe he is consistent? He is not. Do some research.

In fact... here, I did it for you.

How does a man who wins a special election in the 70s and is in office for but few months and loses the next election become part of a self-appointed "shadow cabinet?" A shadow cabinet based on a parliamentary form of government that we don't have and even in those systems they are ELECTED officials.

He says corporations aren't people....but he also says the opposite. And I can't understand how he could outright lie...when he was a plaintiff on the side of Citizens United.

Come on folks.

The campaign for liberty backed Scott Walker and Mike Lee who wants to take away your right to vote for your senators.

8. Paul has never been a real Republican. He's a Libertarian.
And Paul actually believes what he says.
He doesn't spout party line.

Most of his views are wrong and it would be a disaster for the country if he became president but it comes from a totally different place than the Republicans.

He's an honorable man with a miguided philosophy.

He's been tied to the conservative caucus for YEARS. http://www.conservativeusa.org/35years.htm

They say right on their website that they created the "shadow cabinet" that Ron Paul was a part of in 1977. These people are heavily connected to Abramoff, the contra scandal, the silver scandal, and George Bush via Lewis Lehrman - the co-author of Ron Paul's book the Case for Gold. Ron Paul has Doug Bandow that is connected to Abramoff on his campaign.

He doesn't like the Fed? How about when the fed was playing along with one of the funders of the conservative caucus Nelson Bunker Hunt?

Why the media doesn't do its job on this guy is beyond me.
