1. More public spending cuts?
A center left candidate supporting democracy wins--sounds good at first go around. But his intent to gain support for more public spending cuts doesn't sound so good. As we have learned from countries like Argentina, the victims of IMF plundering, public spending cuts can destroy an economy. But perhaps they don't have many expenditures other than the social safety net expenses, as their military budget is no doubt, per capita, far less than our "defense" budget. Public spending cuts is an agenda that our Republican party loves to forward, so I'm suspicious. Good luck, Slovenia.
