American anti-corporate Occupy protesters are being allowed back into a New Orleans park, after getting permission from a federal judge. A lawmaker has already called for an investigation into claims of police misconduct in dealing with activists. The movement shows no sign of dying down across America, with thousands demonstrating nearly three months after the first protests in New York. The heavy police presence isn't being scaled back either, as Marina Portnaya reports.

Karma will take a long time to visit the police thugs, and the public will never hear of it. One by one, as the pugilist enforcers get older and unable to swing their batons as hard, they will find that they have needs too. But when they need surgery or chemo, the insurance companies of the 1% will deny their claims; when they fall behind in their house payments, the banks of the 1% will foreclose them just like everyone else; if they have trouble staying warm in winter, they will find that the LIHEAP program went to pay for tax cuts for the 1%.

Someday, the Karma goddess will slap them, but they will be too dumb to realize it was their own fault.
