CNN isn't much better. Well, in all honesty, I can't confirm that, as I don't watch either channel. I used to watch CNN, but they drifted far away from my views.

RT is the Kremlin's English language outlet and it's state run/funded. It's is ground zero for spinning the election and protests for Western audiences. Looks like they're going with 'the protests aren't happening/are being exaggerated' angle.

So to sum up . . . we have Medevedev's boilerplate response, a missile defense story, a 'Putin looks forward, progressively' story, some blame for Hillary, a not-so-subtle attempt to minimize the protesters, and a story about Fox News. Because we all know that the important thing here, above all else, is keep the focus on Fox News :sarcasm:

I've long said that RT is a con job on the Western left. The goal is to appeal to the left's sensibilities in order to promote Russian interests. This story is as good an example of that as you could find. 'Election problems hmmm . . . oooh look over there. Fox News!' They are clearly attempting to use the left's disdain for Fox to distract from what's really going on.

9. The sad thing is......

Fox viewers are "zoned out" - hypnotized, if you will. They're NOT going to be tuning to some other "news" outlet to fact check FOX, and FOX - if they say ANYthing about it at all - will never REALLY tell the truth. Heh - my poor in-laws are amongst that sorry audience. They don't have access to MSNBC, or CURRENT ot the like. Whatever FOX tells them is all they know.
