At 10:00am, about 20 minutes after the #D12 rally outside Goldman Sachs ended, a completely non-violent flash protest with singing and dancing began at the Winter Garden Atrium, a "public" space inside the World Financial Center (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVVAp9n8Dao&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL). Within a few minutes, riot police arrived and deployed excessive force in clearing the area of protesters, often knocking them to the ground.
