Yes, seer stones and polygamy seem wacko, but no more so than the foundations of Christianity. It is just that there are more of the traditional Christians about, and they have been telling their wacko stories a lot longer, so they almost seem reasonable.

4. Don't Worry, Be Happy

McMitt McMormon McMorbot McRomney is a TBM (True Blue Mormon) but he's also a card carrying player in the grand tradition of revisionist historians and outright liars (it's for the LOWORD so it's ok). He's such a wooden puppet and even though he wants to become a real boy, he just can't stop lying long enough for the BLUE STATE fairy's to believe him. His religion aside (yes it's bizarre but fairly harmless to outsiders) he's a silly little side note and in a year will be forgotten along with the zillions of jokes at his religions expense. The mormons are like a bunch of toothless piranhas, surrounding the members and wanna-bees and gumming them to death. Most of THEM are good people but just so deeply entrenched in the cult that they can't think or act on intelligent reasonable intuition. Their customs, practices, and funky underwear are downright bizarre but I doubt anyone as impotent and disloyal as Mitt Romney would impose anything on the American people unless the Republican puppet masters told him to.
