John looked great ... at the top of his game. Short, direct answers in good humor. Man, I'd love to get behind a candidate like him in the General. Hell, even Tweety likes him apparently ! This IS our cross-over candidate - and the most progressive top tier to boot! An Edwards nomination not only would win us the White House, it'd strengthen Congressional majorities ( maybe even usher in a 60+ Dem Senate where we could actually PASS stuff ), and perhaps rescue the Supreme Court. If Hillary or Obama get the nod, all of this is up in the air.

Let's go with the SURE THING ... what do you say ?

11. That piece show Edwards' quiet optimism

about Iowa and the following states. If he carries Iowa, and I think that's likely, the dynamics of NH and later states will reflect the changes. Also, listen to the way he talks about his supporters...I don't know many folks who are that confident in their backing at this point.
