She is in law enforcement and has the legal right to stop, detain, question anyone she deems is a possible problem to the border crossing... Or anywhere other than the border for that mater. It is not uncommon for people to be pulled over by border patrol away from a border crossing.

7. As I stated in my previous post, border patrol is not limited to just the border...

It is very common for border patrol to pull people over well away from the border and they have the authority to do just that. As a mater of fact I have seen it happen in Lynden Washington just over a year ago.... They had a similar setup to what we saw in this video....

12. The only mistake (other than his belligerent attitude) was she should have detained him...

There were all sorts of things that she could have done, had she had the confidence to do them... ie: detain him, strip search him, tear his car down looking for contraband and on and on and on.... She was to passive.

carrying contraband they can do all of those things and more.... They have Federal authority to protect the country from those that might do harm.
