In the event a Democrat is elected Commander in Chief in 2008
I can't help but wonder if the Republicans will practice what
they preached. Loving freedom the way they do, I recall
frequent admonishments and outright declarations of treason
directed at Democrats for daring to voice negative opinions
about Bush and his military and foreign policy while we are
"at war".

Here's a little hypothetical (omitting volumes of other
"interesting" issues from the "Decider"
years) to help us imagine the magnanimity and patriotism we'd
have to look forward to if the Left shoe were on the Right
Foot, so to speak.

1. Great job
I could only imagine what would happen if President Gore did even a small fraction of the things that George Bush has done, but I have a strong feeling that Republicans would not be rallying behind their President as they instruct us to do.

2. K&R
It's amazing the video talent on our side and in this forum. I may not agree with some viewpoints here, but I'm glad I get to visit.

3. Democratic Underground
This place is great. It was my first adventure in to liberal blogging and message boards many years ago. It has grown and matured, offering a slick and useful interface and a design that puts FR to shame. Not to mention the superior content, even at its worst.

Thank you both for commenting.

4. well we already know how Republicans supported Clinton during a real war
in Serbia, the Republicans criticized Clinton mercilessly, questioning the President's patriotism, and of those who supported the war in Serbia. Why? Because Republicans are evil hypocrites. But we already knew that, didn't we?

5. The "war on terror" ...
and the universal free pass it gives the president ends in January 2009, unless John McCain ends up winning the presidential elections, upon which it will remain in place at least another four years ...

As noted, the same whore propogandists and law makers who vehemently denounced anyone who CORRECTLY stood up against the Iraq bungle in a anti-american were the same scumbags who railed against Clinton relative to his role as commander in chief - Sean Hannity in all his self indulgence announcing that Clinton didn't have the "moral authority" ...

Jaggoffs ...
