And as we know, that bill was not passed in its entirety and nuclear still remains as a subsidized entity at the expense of the American taxpayer, our planet's sustainability, and our security. So, will Sens. Clinton and Obama both renounce these subsidies and work to relegate nuclear power to the dustbin of history where it belongs? Or will they continue to use it as a "green" excuse to continue to lobby for it to get campaign cash? You want "change", then tell Clinton and Obama to stop supporting nuclear and provide more for alternate energies lile solar, wind, biomass, cellulosic ethanol and other visionary sources like ocean wave energy and geothermal, and work to reduce emissions by 90% by 2020. Any other plan is only more bending to the will of the very industries that keep this planet at the mercy of a catastrophe we will continue to feed the longer we place our own selfish wants above this planet.
