It's a very interesting article.
My son is so borderline HFA- high functioning autistic-
in some areas, and quite autistic in other areas.

Many,many of our kids fall between the cracks when it comes
to categorization. But to get any help, they have to have a
"diagnosis".

2. The AQ test?

Yup.

I just took it again (it's been awhile). 31.

Although, I'm going through such changes in my life, that I'm not really sure how to answer some of them.

I *used* to be/behave/believe/act - one way, and find that as I age, I'm changing a bit. Whether that's permanent or not? Whether it's growth or ennui, or age, or menopause, or "wisdom" :rofl: or - I dunno. :shrug:

I'm also going through what my son refers to

4. Just to clarify my post above,

I found the Barron-Cohen article interesting.
There are a number of points I don't necessarily agree with, such as the following

In this millennium special issue of Development and Psychopathology, the intention is to highlight this as an issue for the agenda.

I read everything I can get my hands on.

Right now, I'm really interesting in the correlation between
mercury poisoning and autism.

There is definitely something to it.
