1. DU smokers are, quite often, horrendously
obnoxious, selfish and self-absorbed, more so than almost any other smokers I've ever known (and I used to be a smoker, quit nearly twenty years ago). It's to the point where I don't even bother to post in their threads or respond to their hateful bullshit, because there's simply no point to it.

I remember one particularly obnoxious DUer who actually had the unmitigated gall to yell at another DUer who had a respiratory disease and used oxygen and who stated that, with the advent of smoke-free workplaces and public places, he could finally get out and about in society without a lot of planning and worrying. The smoker was actually complaining about "people like" him, how they'd "ruined" things for the smoker and asked him "what the fuck more do you want." Utterly disgusting. Truly selfish, self-obsorbed, self-centered assholes with NO consideration for anyone else except their "right" to poison everyone's air regardless of respiratory disease and/or sensitivity. It's as if they blame those with such disease/sensitivity, like it's their fault. Idiots.

3. smokers in general
I love the way they "ask" if you mind if they smoke. I said yes I do once and got a fuck you and a face full of smoke.

4. You brought to mind a Steve Martin bit I once heard
He said that when people ask him "do you mind if I smoke?", he answers "do you mind if I fart?"

2. I'm sorry so many of my

fellow DU smokers are self-centered jerks.

Some of us aren't and get as far away from others
when we light up outdoors.

It's a pain, but I'm not going to inflict my crappy addiction
to nicotine on others.

Again, I apologize for the jerks.

:(
