I am going to the Massachusetts forum and leave it for them also. I know many outside of Mass. were calling like crazy.. as were the Mass. Du'ers. I just wish we could have won, because you guys worked so hard.
Maybe Martha did not get out there like she should have. I was worried about that assumption because that is exactly what happened to Hillary in Iowa. It was a stunner for many.
It is not fair, but women have to campaign twice as hard as men in states that have never elected a woman to those offices. That is true in Mass. also. (Also true in Iowa)
I was crest fallen last night.. so I know our people in Mass. are hurting also. :grouphug:
Its hard to believe that a thing like Brown took Sen. Kennedy's seat.. but lesson learned again I hope by our politicians.. You have to get in there and be in the mix.. You can't do it alone.. and neither can we.
It is not my nature to be down for very long.. I am already gearing up for the Iowa battles ahead. It is going to be very complicated for us, to keep our Democratic majority.
If we lose it, I am afraid there will be a repeal of the ability of Gay couples to marry in Iowa.
Hopefully our politicians and our fellow Democrats will understand nothing is set in stone.. anything can be repealed at this juncture. Doing something to "teach" Washington a lesson can have repercussions not thought about.
But I am going to eat cookies for a week.. get my mojo working again.. and back into the fray
But most of all.. Just thank you to all the hard working Democrats. There is always a silver lining.. now we just have to find it..
