If I see another "Now there's change we can believe in" or "How's that change working for you?"
one more time I am gonna rip some faces off.

AND, people who do not live in Massachusetts but make comments about what we Massholes are thinking is another thing that makes me chew nails.

I'm venting.

Life is stressful right now.

1. It is stressful and that's what
venting's for..and the BOG.

We're going to have a SOTU thread here for those who don't want to see whine while the President is talking.

2. Fortunately, I am working that night.
I'll have to catch it later online after all the whine and cheese is gone....tho that could take weeks.

13. Like Obama said, some people
take pride in their ignorance. Lately, on DU, that's what I've been seeing.

They don't seem to understand the dynamics behind change. They're still in the *ush totalitarian mode, not understanding that true power lies with Congress, not the President. They twist themselves in pretzels trying to defend their unjustifiable anger towards President Obama, completely negating the obstructionism in Congress.

Congress, in turn, should be representing We the People, but too many champion We the Personhoods instead, and they've been doing this so long that people actually believe they don't have any power and that the President can function, create changes, and force his will on them as he pleases.

To those Murkins that think that, they really need to brush up on civics lessons. It's sad that they'd rather go into attack mode instead, not realizing this is counter-productive and that they're only hurting themselves in the long run.

3. They say that crap because they know it gets under Obama supporters skin.
Try not to let it.
Don't give the losers the satisfaction.

7. When they ask,
"How's that change working for you?" I tell them, "Just fine." And then I expound on why.

9. I keep a list open in another browser window
to remind me, and hop back and forth between the two windows when responding.

But I have to admit that it's getting very old.

Perhaps they should be treated like the trolls they are and should not be fed?

11. I've significantly
added to my Ignore list, but when you do that, the threads end up making no sense because there are replies to those you've ignored. You also miss the opportunity to alert on those who definitely need alerting.

Alert or Ignore? Ignore or Alert? It's a puzzlement.

12. Oh god, thank you for saying that.
Sometimes I just want to know what they're saying! It's a choice. Too bad there wasn't a tool that could make their postings white but allowing you to see them if you mouse over.

14. You are aware
Edited on Wed Jan-27-10 03:56 PM by TicketyBoo
that if you click on the Print Version option in the upper left corner of your screen that all posts will be displayed, including those you've ignored?

There is no easy answer. I just have to back out and do something else for awhile when it gets to be too much to take.

Ignore doesn't work so great because of how disjointed it leaves a thread, especially if you put everybody on your Ignore list that you'd like to put there. Talk about threadbare, ha-ha.
